Summer summer time...what should be a time for playing outside and backyard BBQ's seems to be the exact opposite in AZ. It is too darn hot!!! This July we hit record temps and we are all starting to feel a little stir crazy. Just today it was 113 when I ran an errand at lunch time! The good news is we should see some relief by Halloween!
This summer any outdoor time was spent in the pool. Mileigh is starting to become a good little swimmer and Madyn pretty much enjoys anything her sister does! Nate and I took Mileigh to a baseball game while Grandma D. watched Madyn. Mileigh loved cheering for the Diamondbacks and she ate 2 hotdogs! We really enjoyed our one-on-one time with Mileigh.
My wonderful parents treated Nate and I to a weekend away for a "staycation" at a resort here in Scottsdale. It was so nice to have some time away just the two of us knowing our girls were at home having a blast with Grandma and Grandpa D.
We will continue to wish away the days of summer hoping for cooler days this fall and winter. Hope you are all doing well and staying cool!
